1. Initial check & goal setting:
At the beginning, we assess the expat's current living situation. This includes, among other things, housing conditions, language skills, work and family environment, as well as personal hopes, fears, and concerns. This allows for an initial assessment and helps identify individual challenges.
2. Regular personal and digital status checks:
At meaningful intervals, both the expat and their supervisor receive a structured set of questions to assess key integration indicators using a 0–10 point scale. Rather than relying on a rigid model, we use an analytical framework based on scientifically recognized dimensions of integration, as established in integration research, migration sociology, and practical application.
Based on the data obtained, language-sensitive (in the expat’s native language) follow-up questions are developed to reflect on critical assessments and provide targeted impulses for further integration.
3. Evaluation & alert system:
Once all current data is available, we evaluate it from various perspectives. In doing so, we combine statistical analysis, psychological sensitivity, operational relevance, and many other everyday factors.
4. Team assessment & action planning
If noticeable patterns arise (e.g., frustration, isolation, withdrawal, language barriers), our system automatically flags a need for action - and our welcomegate+ integration team becomes active:
5. Accompanying measures:
Based on the identified risks, our system - partly AI-supported - recommends targeted measures that also take into account regional conditions in the expat’s living environment.
These range from low-threshold impulses (such as self-reflection and personal initiative), to targeted offers (like language training or extended mentoring programs), and even more intensive interventions (for example, facilitated conversations between the expat and the employer moderated by our team).
In this way, we provide effective impulses for sustainable integration.
All collected data is treated with strict confidentiality:
Private matters remain private, and sensitive company data remains exclusively with the company.
Partial data exchange only occurs with prior mutual consent.
